Drilled holes matrix

This table shows the desired number of holes, with the associated diameter, that are required in a hollow profile with given dimensions in order to galvanise the profile properly.

For instance:

A tube or a hollow profile smaller than (<) 30 mm should include at least one hole with a diameter of 12 mm. If there are two or more holes, the minimum diameter for the holes is 10 mm.

A tube or square profile smaller than (<) 50 mm should include one 16 mm hole, two holes of at least 12 mm, or 3 holes of at least 10 mm.
